FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I am uncomfortable having my picture taken. Are there still any chances that the pictures will be nice?
I PROMISE there will be pictures that you will like.
Can you retouch my belly/nose/hips?
I do retouch some areas where needed, but only if it's some acne you were unlucky to get right before shooting or if you didn't sleep well and your eyes need some fresh touch or so on. However, I will help you to pick some winning poses.
What should I/we wear?
How many times have you heard the phrase: “it’s all in the details?” Decide your accent colour and add that colour into your jewellery, shoes, undershirts, scarf, tights and hair bows. It adds that extra flair you need to make for a fun, unique picture. Feel free to bring a change of clothing, including some simple cloth with not too many details for b/w photos for example. Nevertheless, we need to pay attention to the background, so your picture won't look messy, nether pale. It's always better to discuss it with me if you are not sure about your appearance/place for your shoot.
What do you do if we have an outdoor venue and it rains on our wedding/anniversary/birth day?
I easily adapt to any situation and so do my cameras! Our favourite photos have a lot more to do with your personalities and your chemistry as a person or a couple, than what kind of background you’re standing in front of. If you are happy and in love, that will show in your photos. I see rain as a fun, adventurous twist that usually brings laughter and spontaneity.
And what about group shots?
I do recommend to limit it to a maximum of, let’s say, 10 group shots, to prevent your guests and yourself from severe boredom. I mean, be honest… There are nicer things to do on your celebration day, than to take posed shots of you and your bored uncle’s neighbour, right? But your parents, sibs, best friends… I will definitely make sure they will show up in the group shots.
What if you get ill?
Unfortunately, everything is possible. Fortunately, I have a large network of colleagues that I can count on. In this case you will be informed asap and everything will be settled.
What if your camera or lens breaks?
I always carry 2 cameras and 3 lenses with me, so no worries.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot with Nikon D3s as a main camera and Nikon d3300 as a back-up. Lenses range is 18-200mm.
How long will it take before we have our photographs?
Sometimes it takes just 1 day. However, no longer than 2 weeks. Pictures will be professionally edited, colour corrected(if needed), some offered in black & white. You can download your folder from my Google Drive. We can discuss other options (USB, CD, e-mail)
How many photographs do we get?
You get 25 edited photos per hour. Originally I will take about 200 photos per hour and later will chose the best ones. See more on the PRICES page if you want to participate in my work after the shoot is done.
Can I get the original RAW-files?
No, the RAW-files will always stay with me.
Where will the photos be taken? Do you have a studio?
I do have a studio. However, the location of the photo session is up to you. Ideally I prefer to use natural available. Once your photo shoot date is booked we could then work together to come up with the perfect location. Newborn photo sessions are almost always held within the comfort of your own home.
Do you photograph details?
Yes! Your photography collection would not be complete without good photos of the details. I take all the photographs you would expect out of any event photographer. But my goal is to also go past those expectations and give you photographs that you never even imagined.
Will you travel for engagement sessions as well?
I am happy to come to your town or meet you at a fabulous destination of your choice. Please contact me for specific information.
